This policy explains refund pathways for eligible tasks completed through TaskAid.
TaskAid does not hold customer funds in escrow. Refund rights depend on how payment was made and the circumstances of the issue.
When a customer pays by card on TaskAid via Stripe, payment records and dispute evidence are retained on the platform.
Eligible refund requests may be reviewed against task status, messages, agreed scope, and completion evidence.
Approved refunds for on-platform payments are processed according to Stripe and banking timelines.
If a customer pays a tasker directly, TaskAid cannot reverse the payment itself.
We may still help mediate a dispute and apply account actions where policy breaches are confirmed.
Monthly tasker membership fees are separate from job payments.
Membership billing follows the Stripe subscription terms shown at checkout unless otherwise required by law.
Contact support@taskaid.com.au with the task reference, a short description of the issue, and any supporting photos or messages.
We may ask both parties for evidence before deciding on mediation, partial resolution, or account action.
Urgent safety issues should be reported immediately so we can restrict account access where needed.
Mediation between customer and tasker.
Refund or partial refund for eligible on-platform payments.
Account warnings, suspension, or removal for repeated or serious policy breaches.
No outcome is guaranteed for every dispute — each case depends on the evidence available.
